However;
@Yulianna As a former social studies teacher I was exposed to numerous materials that stated the name of the country as "The Ukraine" even after the fall of the Soviet empire. So to say I was ignorant, that is one thing, I will admit to being misinformed and, again will alter my behavior so as to conform to what you state from your experience. I accept education on the matter.
BUT SERIOUSLY 4 times in just two comments to call me ignorant(2x), uninformed (as differentiated from MISinformed), a know nothing and a fool... that was rude and hostile. Take the chance to educate someone, yes, all day everytime, but can you imagine if I jumped down someone's throat every time I encountered a kid who had a piece of information that was simply a little off -- as little as the use of the word "the" in the wrong place -- They wouldn't have just fired me from teaching... they'd have fired me out of a cannon.

@Ksmile14 I don't know about interesting. Do they have a happy relaxed childhood with their parents...No. It's one big training, stress, pain, competition, diet, traumas... Russian Olimpics Reserve schools are kind of cool room and board paid. That's like starting a full time job at 5 or 6 just for fame, victory, a gold medal. Is it worth it
