Dear GodSpeed63, these are very good verses. Why this question in first place? Because, sometimes an intentionally harmless question can trigger doubts in people’s mind who really don’t go through the whole message. Why give that chance? And the title God is Evil is a bit uncomfortable and unsettling even if it was for testing the knowledge and understanding.

@Diotrephes While you are entitled to have your own opinion please exclude me from a religious debate, friend. That was not my intention.

My brother, Diotrephes; and others like him need to know the truth, that God is Love. If you know a better way to express it, please share it with me.

@GodSpeed63 I was not trying to be critical, my brother. But, I feel the title can be slightly modified. I get your reason though. So if you feel this will work…how about ‘Love that endures’ for a title.

You know that unbelievers will always use the acts of God as a means to say he doesn't love but he is evil.
But it is not in them, nor do they want it to be, to see / understand who God is and how he works.

Remember what Jesus said: You have to hate your own family if you want to be his buddy.

You're taking it out of context, you don't know what your saying.

How do you spin Luke 14:26 (KJV) = "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
Luke 14:26 (VOICE) = "Jesus: If any of you come to Me without hating your own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, and yes, even your own life, you can’t be My disciple."
