Luke 17:28-30 prophesied it all concerning that subject.
Bible tells us such things is going to occur.
In the 21st century such things became legal in the US and several other countries.
When Paul says there will be a falling away before that man of sin is revealed the son of perdition, he's telling us even Christians will cease to believe and he also said Christians will have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.
Jesus said they serve him with their tongues but their hearts are far from him. He also said many will come to him saying Lord, Lord and he will tell them to depart from him they work iniquity.
In the last chapter of the Bible in the Book of Revelation 22:11-12 it basically tells people whatever they are doing keep doing it.
The Bible also tells us in the last day seven women will take hold to one man begging that man to marry them Isaiah 4:1 - that suggests having more than one wife will be practiced and less men and more women may be alive at certain points or a certain point in time.

Mainstream American culture at least doesn't openly advocate rape as being a valid way of finding a wife.
