Great post! So true
@Carazaa According to Preterists, Jesus' second coming already happened in the First Century when the Temple was destroyed.
Carazaa · F
@LeopoldBloom "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words". 1 thess/4:16
@Carazaa Yes. And Preterists believe that already happened in 70 CE, which was after Thessalonians was written.

@Carazaa You've repeated yourself with your flawed logic multiple times too and I haven't seen you deleting your own comments.

And this is still censorship. Like it or not, it's the way of despots and religious extremists.

@Elessar OK thank you for your opinion!
Those “prophecies” are so general, they could apply to any period in history, and they have been.

@LeopoldBloom There is no proof it happened? Please think again. If people were willing to die witnessing, that they saw Jesus die and rise again, OfCourse it happened. That is first account witnessing which stands up in court.

@Carazaa Another sign of the end...Ezekiel 5:17, "So I will send against you famine and wild beasts, and they will bereave you.
I'm sorry, I can't support some of what you wrote here. I also do not agree with one of these videos. I didn't have a chance to view the others, but I think the one I did look at is dangerous and teaches false doctrine. I noticed that you talk about the rapture on one hand, and then in another post, you posted a video by Dr. Ben Witherington, III....whom people claim is a scholar....yet REFUTES the idea of a rapture, altogether.

[media=https://youtu.be/B6TKrcTSf0A]

~Here are two guys who did their separate reseach and both thinks its a possibility that the tribulation or Rapture will happen in 2023 and Jesus will come year 2030. What do you think?

I do not support this video. There are scriptures that supports the coming rapture. I believe and support the bible, not man's theories. I don't care what credentials he holds. Jesus said that if what they say doesn't match up exactly with His Word, they are false teachers.

Dr. Alan Kurschner refuted both of Dr. Ben Witherington’s claims here:

https://www.alankurschner.com/2014/10/08/as-it-was-in-the-days-of-noah-do-you-want-to-be-left-behind-or-taken-at-the-second-coming-of-jesus-matthew-2437-41-ep-9/

https://www.alankurschner.com/2014/09/03/does-the-bible-teach-the-rapture-an-explanation-of-1-thessalonians-417-ep-4

You also keep mentioning the time that you think the Rapture and Christ's Second Coming shall occur. Videos don't make that godpel. I don't think it's a good idea to advertise that, since it's not gospel; even videos don't support the time that they FEEL those two events shall occur. Yes we have our ideas, but I don't think it's a good idea to use videos when they don't really stick to biblical facts or know themselves when Christ shall come. There's only one person that knows that so we cannot speculate, and that is God the Father himself.

The Bible is very clear that the Rapture and the Second Coming are two separate events. The Rapture is NOT the Second Coming. Scripture confirms it AND gives us the reason for its purpose. Scripture adamantly confirms why the Rapture and the Second Coming are not the same event, what happens at both, and why both are necessary.

An interesting aspect of the Flood account is that when Noah and his family enter the ark, it is God who shuts the door: “16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.” A heavenly door is also a symbol used in reference to the Rapture. In the verse above from Revelation, the Apostle John saw a door open in Heaven before he was raptured. Jesus, when addressing the faithful church of Philadelphia in the Book of Revelation stated:

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name…Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:7-10).

Jesus describes Himself as the one who opens and shuts the door. And as a reward for their faithfulness, the church of Philadelphia is promised to be protected from the ” hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.” Notice the word “temptation” is used once again in reference to the wrath of the Great Tribulation. As Noah was protected from the flood that afflicted the whole world, so will believers be safe in Heaven with Jesus during the judgments of the Day of The Lord/Great Tribulation. And just as God the Father shut Noah in the Ark, Jesus will shut in his faithful believers behind a door in Heaven during the wrath of God in the Great Tribulation. 1st Thessalonians tells us that God shall save his people from the Wrath to come! As we can see above, meaning the Great Tribulation.

I have quoted Jesus, own words.

MATTHEW 24:29

Jesus own words

after the tribulation he will come and gather all his elect.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days

“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[b]

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."

Look at several Biblical foreshadows of the Rapture in Bible prophecy that show that God always removes His people from harm when He is preparing to supernaturally punish the unbelieving who have mocked God, cursed him, spit upon him, laughed at him, and lied about him. We examine the Day of The Lord, the Biblical prophecy event that starts the end times. The Day of The Lord (also known as the Great Tribulation) is the outpouring of God’s wrath on the unbelieving, God-cursing world, in a series of supernatural judgments in the final seven years before Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. People can laugh all they want but God will not be mocked!! They wanted to laugh? Let's see which of them laughs when they face their Maker and give account for their disrespect for God.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE RAPTURE AND SECOND COMING

The Rapture, the supernatural removal of faithful believers in Jesus Christ from the Earth, occurs just as the Day of The Lord is about to begin. Exactly WHEN, no one knows but God alone. The Church – all true, born again believers in Jesus Christ, will be “caught up” in the air and rescued just before the wrath of God comes. By looking at Old Testament types and shadows, God’s method of saving His people before judgment, becomes apparent and foreshadows timing of the Rapture of the church in the prophetic timeline.

The Rapture and the Second Coming are often confused, but they are distinct events, with distinct purposes, on God’s prophetic timeline.

At the Rapture, Jesus will return for His saints.
At the Second Coming, He will return with His saints.

At the Rapture, Jesus will not descend to earth.
At the Second Coming, He will descend to the Mount of Olives as a prelude to His earthly reign.

At the Rapture, Jesus will bring a blessing for His saints.
At the Second Coming, He will bring judgment for those who have rejected Him.

The Rapture could occur at any moment.
The Second Coming will occur seven years later.

When the Rapture occurs, Christ will take every deceased and every living Christian to heaven with Him. Paul describes this glorious event in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17:

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

The Rapture will protect God’s saints from the Tribulation—the seven years of judgment that will be poured out on earth between the Rapture and the Second Coming. There are some who argue the Tribulation period will begin before the Rapture. However, the Bible says that “there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1), which suggests the Church will not experience God’s judgment during the Tribulation.

Seven years after the Rapture, Jesus will return to earth in the event known as the Second Coming. His return will be entirely different from His arrival in Bethlehem as a humble Child. When Christ returns, He will appear as the exalted King of the universe, surrounded by His saints. The powers of evil will be quickly defeated at the Battle of Armageddon, and then Christ will establish His everlasting kingdom on earth.

For Christians, the Rapture is a source of hope. All who have lost loved ones to the sting of death can find comfort in the knowledge that they will see them again. Knowing Jesus promised to return for us provides strength during difficult times.
@Carazaa Jesus didn't warn Christians not to be deceived during the Tribulation, as we won't even be here during the Tribulation period. We will have been raptured.

The Second Coming was promised by Christ Himself when he told his disciples on the Mount of Olives of all the signs that will precede His arrival. Among them, Jesus spoke of wars and rumours of wars, natural cataclysms, unrest and the persecution ofChristians. Please note! The Bible says these are not, I repeat, not the same believers that Christ protected and removed at the rapture. These are those who were left behind, went through the tribulation, and were witnessed to during that time, by the 144,000 Jews from each of the 12 tribes of Israel, who are evangelists, telling people about Christ so they can be saved and some shall be saved and some shall reject. why else would Christ tell us about the 144,000 who witnessed to those who were left behind by their own choice, after the rapture? Those that endured to the end, shall be saved. The Bible says however, that it won't be easy for them because they rejected Christ's offer of salvation and to save them from this event, in the first place. That's why they were left behind. They had the chance but they either ignored it or rejected it.

Read this carefully. The Bible says in the last days during that battle, the Holy Spirit will be lifted, not taken away. If it weren't for the Holy Spirit's presence during that time, to convict them of their sin and help them know why they need jesus, none would have been saved. However, since the Holy Spirit is not as strong as it was, this means evil will be even stronger than it is today and if you think this is hell, it will be nothing compared to the tribulation period. God's Word says that those who do get saved during that period, because they mocked and cursed God, they won't have that strong protection of the holy spirit that we have today. Evil will be much more prevalent, stronger, and will hate them and kill them for their beliefs. If they do not have the mark of the beast on their forehead or wrist, and do not worship the Beast, he shall have them beheaded. This is what God was trying to save them from when he told us to prepare today, not tomorrow. As we do not know when the Rapture shall occur and when it does, it will Usher in the Battle of Armageddon.

The one thing God did not divulge, is when these events would come to pass... "about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father".

This is not an IF occurrence, it's When the Rapture occurs, Christ will take every deceased believer FIRST from the grave, then every living Christian to heaven with Him.

(This speaks of the Rapture.) And thus, we shall always be with the Lord.

The Rapture will protect God’s saints (believers) from the Tribulation—the seven years of judgment that will be poured out on earth between the Rapture and the Second Coming. There are some who argue the Tribulation period will begin before the Rapture. However, the Bible says that “There is, therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1), which tells us the Church will not experience God’s judgment, because he's coming to take them out of this world BEFORE the Great Tribulation.

Seven years after the Rapture, Jesus will return to earth in an event known as the Second Coming. His return will be entirely different from His arrival in Bethlehem as a humble Child. When Christ returns, He will appear as the exalted King of the universe, surrounded by His saints which he delivered from the Tribulation period. The powers of evil will be quickly defeated at the Battle of Armageddon, and then Christ will establish His everlasting kingdom on earth.

For Christians, the Rapture is a source of hope! But not empty hope. God keeps every one of his promises. God said He'll save believers (and he wasn't talking about denominations; He was talking about all who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.) And believers who have lost loved ones to death, can find comfort in the knowledge that they will see them again. Knowing Jesus promised to return for us, provides strength during difficult times. And don't let that devil lie to you. None of us have to miss the rapture. That is strictly up to you, because it is only your choice, that will either keep you safe or you reject God's offer to save you and you'll miss the Rapture and be left behind. That's one thing you don't want to do, is miss the rapture. Jesus doesn't want you to miss it either! That's why he gave us the heads up as to what is going to take place in this world. There's no need to panic. You have only to prepare for this event and you'll miss the tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon, altogether! Still, there are those that will refuse to believe and still laugh at God. When they make that choice, and they refuse to Plan of Salvation that Jesus offers us for free, and they want no part of God or his plan to save them, and they tell God they want no part of him, he will honor their request. God does not make that choice for us. That is our responsibility. Pass it up, and your choice will condemn you, not God. He told you what to do and how to save yourself, but you refused to believe him. God did not make that choice for you so you are responsible for that choice, not God. Remember that God died to save you. What more could he have done to prove to you that he wants you in heaven with him forever? God did his part and now it's time for us to do our part and take him at His Word.

YES Jesus warns us of the Tribulation read Matthew 24 again carefully! I told you I don't agree with you, and then you want to drop the subject but you keep at it yourself! That is not nice! That is not what true christians do! We need to be loving and not argue, Please STOP!!!!

I think you have listened to some apostate church. Please read these verses again.

Listen to Jesus words

1 Thessalonians 4

FIRST
15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

SECOND
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

THIRD
17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

MATTHEW 24
24 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered
“Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

22 “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time.

26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days

“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[b]

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it[e] is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

@LadyGrace

The pretrib rapture gospel was born in Scotland 200 years ago when Margaret MacDonalds had a visions of rapture, which was Satanic vision, because Jesus warns in the last verses of the Bible Revelation 22 to NOT add to this book or add any new revelation.

That started a Satanic miraculous healing and wonders movement that spread to the US theological schools, and now many churches are demonic.

This is a Satanic movement. Don't buy into it!

This new movement is not preparing people for tribulation or preparing people for the signs of his coming.

I will ask you to amicably agree to disagree. You and I disagree I have no interest in debating this further since I have given scripture after scripture, sorry!

We disagree!

Have a nice night!
If you keep posting what I believe is false gospel NOT Biblical I will delete it!

We should all be prepared, because the last day for any one of us could be any day. Predicting a specific generation that will see the second coming however is problematic. This has been going on since Paul's time.
Carazaa · F
@JoePourMan What Jesus meant in Matthew 24 is that when you see these signs that is the generation that will see me coming back! And if you read the 6000 year time line, that I explained, from Adam, its now. That, and together with all the other signs tells all people who read the Bible every day that we are it! My grandma knew she was not that generation because there hadn't been a falling away yet, no terrors in Scandinavia, not world wide pestilences, and no mocking the Bible in Scandinavia yet. She said watch for these signs at the same time. Nowhere in history have all the signs been happening , only for the last 20 years.
@Carazaa There are other books besides the Bible. You’re verging on paganism with your worship of a book.

@LeopoldBloom I study the Bible. I was a fanatical reader of fiction when I was growing up. I read 6 hrs a day, and sometimes all night. But now I am not at all interested in fiction. I am more interested in knowing God and the mysteries he says are hidden in there especially when Jesus is coming back. Its super interesting to me. And I am writing a book and working full time so I need to use my time wisely. I come here to witness what God has done in my life, and I love it when people comment on my posts so thank you!

I agree the Savior is coming back soon! However I think there maybe something missing and some confusion.

1. The Most High WILL bring the bloodline back to the promise land again, (( the ones claiming to be Jews and are not are still ruling while the children of Israel are STILL in Captivity. They haven’t been brought back to the land of their fathers yet. This WILL happen before “The Second Coming” or “The End”

2. Leaving out the Apocrypha is an Error. These are scripts that the “Roman Catholic religion “ told to exclude from the Canon of “Christianity”. Why? Because it destroys the rapture theory, it sheds light on what’s the truth regarding the end and what happened in between.
@Heavenlywarrior The people "claiming to be Jews" are actual Jews, and millions of them are living in Israel. I'm not sure who you think the "children of Israel" are or what "captivity" they're in. Forgive me for making assumptions, but a lot of that is neo-Nazi BS.

I have a Catholic Bible and it's the only one with the Apocrypha. It's the Protestants who edited that out. It's too bad because some of the stories are pretty good. Like "Bel and the Dragon" which describes how many church leaders fool their members.
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
@LeopoldBloom you may have to do a bit more research. Those “Jews” mentioned are really “khazarians”

But look only time will tell.

One thing for sure is The Light dwells in all forms. But the melanated vessel has the capacity to hold more light.
Carazaa · F
@Heavenlywarrior This post is different interpretations of the end times by many pastors. However, I personally believe we are in the tribulation now (all the signs are here right now that is in Luke, Matthew, and Daniel) . All Christians dead and alive will be raptured after the great tribulation and after the gospel has reached the entire world and the last person is saved.

We are Israel! We are adopted into the kingdom of God when we were saved. We are the third temple, which is almost complete. We have had The Lord reign for a thousand years, and now Satan has been loosed for a little season.

God keeps us safe from the trial, because he protects us. We are not harmed. But we will not enter heaven until the books are opened and our names are called. We are the tribulation saints, the ones who will see Jesus' return. My grandma told me the signs of the last generation, that weren't in her lifetime, but they are now!

Just curious about the calculation of days. Which day are we in currently? Is it the 6th day?
Also when we say Jesus rose on 3rd day are we talking about 3 days in earth or 3 days of God... ie 3000 years?
Apologies for my ignorance and may be a very stupid question from my part :)
@Carazaa The first Aliyah, or large migration of Jews from the diaspora to what would eventually become Israel, was in 1882, so going by your generation count, Jesus should have returned in 1942. But you won't accept that because that date has come and gone, so you have to pick a new one. When he doesn't return by 2033, you'll say that the count started in 1967 when Israel's present borders were fixed, so Jesus will return in 2047 or 2053. And when that passes, the new date will be one generation after Israel and the Palestinians make peace (to remove any potential threat to Israel's continued existence), or within a generation of every Jew in the world emigrating to Israel. You can say that as long as Jews are still living in the diaspora, they are not "gathered" to Israel.

Matthew 24:32 said the generation listening to Jesus at that time would not pass before he returned, so Jesus should have returned by AD 118 at the very latest. So from this we conclude either a) Jesus returned a long time ago, gathered the faithful to heaven, and since then we have been living in a world Jesus has abandoned; or b) it's just a story, and Jesus is never coming back.
Carazaa · F

There is one sign that hasn't happened. In Acts 2:17 it says in the end days I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophecy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. We have had a lot of fake prophets, but no real ones. I haven't heard anything about visions either. I have heard of a few people having dreams. So all the signs haven't been met yet.

I will say the move towards a one world government has already started.
@Carazaa Jesus never mentions the 6 day Creation in Matthew 24. Matthew 24 seems to be dealing with the destruction of the Temple that stood then but no longer does. The context is clear. So I read it as 70 AD.

The gospel went all over in the first century by the way. The New Testament books say it was completed in their known world at the time. Matthew 24 doesn't say the gospel going out by planes and instant communications, just says going out. Don't read into the text what it doesn't say.

@SpiritualMan You and I have different views who Jesus is. I believe He is God and wrote Genesis, and chose me before the foundation of the world, I believe Jesus was warning all christians about the tribulation of the last generation and spoke often about preparing for heaven, not primarily live for this world like the Buddists believe but that we should live for heaven.
@Carazaa I believe Jesus is God too. He is the Living Word, the Logos, the bible is the written word. Just because you INTERPRET some biblical verses differently than I do doesn't mean I don't believe that God inspired the bible. Jesus by the way, did NOT WRITE the bible. Jesus did not write Genesis. God inspired the bible, holy people wrote the bible AS they were moved the Holy Spirit. Inspiration is not word for word dictation or automatic writing either, it doesn't work that way. God made sure no errors were made, but God did not automatically move their hands when they wrote, they didn't blank out, come out of a trance, and say, "oh, I wonder what i just wrote". That is a false view of inspiration. After the Final Judgement the throne of God is going to be on the earth, earth will become the headquarters for heaven, in the eternal age we are going to live right here on earth even if we can travel anywhere.
