@SW-User Don’t go usin’ big fancy words on me, I know that’s how atheist like to confuse good old honest god fearing folk like me
gemimaia · 26-30, F
@DaughterOfGone Cyanobacteria are just a kind bacteria that use photosynthesis. They are thought to be some of the first organisms, and scientists believe that chloroplasts are actually made out of evolved cyanobacteria, they probably came before plants.
Haha I know this question wasn't serious but I just thought I'd let you know.
DaughterOfGone · 36-40, F
@gemimaia haha! Thanks for the info, I knew a little bit about Cyanobacteria but I like your explanation, thanks.

Surprised at the serious answers to this question.

@SatanBurger when I was growing up my ultra Catholic neighbor warned my mom that doing yoga would lead straight to Satan.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Doomflower HAHAHAHA. I mean in a way it's hilarious but it's also insulting. The only reason they say that is because (at least from the Christian point of view) yoga is Hinduism.

So their basically saying "stop that, even though it may or may not be for religious purposes, it's not OUR religion so you're going to invite the legions of hell into your life."

I've also seen Christians relate to the fact that various yoga positions are the positions that demonic possessions take on.

Their just not that smart. Poor things.

@DaughterOfGone the Bible is a book.

I don't really believe in a god. Not enough proof if any at all. Who's to say we just exist for no reason, made by aliens, and so on. Or maybe were the gods? No one knows.

But I do know anyone who claims anything like "god does/doesn't exist" is an actual idiot. Because the chances of someone knowing is extremely slim.

And even if someone did that'd be one of the, if not the most highly guarded secret in the existence of humanity.

This post gave me cancer
"Most oxygen comes from tiny ocean plants – called phytoplankton – that live near the water's surface and drift with the currents. Like all plants, they photosynthesize – that is, they use sunlight and carbon dioxide to make food. A byproduct of photosynthesis is oxygen."
@DaughterOfGone So...based on your theory, where does God come from ?
DaughterOfGone · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard bible says we’re not suppose to ask those sorts of questions

You offer no evidence for your assertion. Merely a statement you want everyone to assume as fact.
Oxygen is a chemical element.
If you went to school, you know that all matter is made of chemical elements. From plants to planets !
But there's no evidence - which is a requirement for establishing a fact-
to suggest that 'God' created it.
DaughterOfGone · 36-40, F
@Picklebobble2 daddy said I didn’t need no school - just bible and church
