But they hide it? Example: "Oh, if only you knew what was right. I'm not telling you why but surely you're wrong." Does this seem honest? .-.

I cant stand ppl who talk that way. Like if they truly care for the person who might be wrong, why not share the so-called wisdom they act like they possess and bring it to their attention instead of keeping them from learning why its so wrong.

My BS radar goes off the charts when I see that ngl. I assume they actually don't know what they're talking about and are trying to mask that fact with confidence and condescension.

It's a rather expectable and understandable idea to try and steer a questioner's uncertainty to give you the benefit of the doubt because that would save you from exposing yourself.

I've had one person say that he wouldn't answer my question because it wasn't worth his time but then go on to make 14...yes...fourteen additional comments.

I've never hidden information from people before. I just can't see the motivation of having someone trust something while they are not explained why

@TheBlackPowerRanger I think most of the time, when you insist on someone substantiating their claim, they can't logically advocate their point. And then they feel trapped and try desperately to deflect. That's usually when the insults start.
