There must be some kind of belief you carry around with you that says you can't have a relationship. The relationship you have with someone else is going to be a reflection of the relationship you have with yourself. Yes? How is THAT relationship?

I'd like to think it's pretty good. I take care of myself, probably a little harder on myself than I should be, but who isn't?
@GlitterFunkQueen: That's great. There could still be some unconscious belief that keeps that relationship from landing in your reality. If you really want that relationship, I'm sure you'll find it. Good Luck.

When you do find "the one" the relationship will last longer than 3 months.

Til then give yourself a pat on the back for not settling for "the wrong one" just to be in a long term relationship. "Long term" doesn't necessarily mean "loving".

Get out there and live your life.
Old cliché or not, the right one'll fall into your lap when you least expect it.

I'm 33 and share a house with flatmates, it's common here in Melbourne too. I get depressed seeing all my friends married off and having babies, but as a working class Aussie living in the poverty line which has become common here, and I'm not that great looking either, I don't have a chance in hell lol.

Time to meet new people and get involved. Make yourself available and maybe even a bit uncomfortable. Things are looking up I believe in you.
