Also. Just thought of something else . If they apologize for something but then do the thing again and again that is straight up manipulation at play.

People show you who they are the first time . I wished that i believed that people truly changed but they don't. They are who they are at their core . For better or worse . They may change in small ways ...in superficial ways but then right back to who they really are
