Have helped and worked through rehab with several, have lost one loved one to an overdose and another loved one to an impaired driver. Not judging the addicts, but the ones who say they are not addicts, or they are recovering addicts, and talk about it like it's all fun and games. And call me stupid and overly dramatic because I object to it.

If that's a closed mind, then I will continue to be a very vocal closed mind.

Thanks diablesse. But it's not really a sensitive subject for me, except on the fact that it is saying it is not only okay to use these drugs, but that it's a helluva high. I know! Kids are gonna be subjected to these things anyhow, so how can one more joke about it possibly hurt?

But, racists think what they think anyhow, right? But that doesn't make racists jokes okay. Nor does it make them funny. It's time for the people, to take responsibility for the things they say, and not tell the people who object that it's wrong to be sensitive.

Wrong is wrong. And now, after using you so shamelessly, I think I should write this in a story of my own, instead of messing up your question with my speechifying.

How about someone who will always think that drugs like cocaine, meth, heroine, crack, and all that stuff is dangerous stuff and not something to laugh about.

That is not someone who is close minded but they would be if they judged harshly the ones who are addicted instead of trying to help them.
