Maybe it wasn't the best fit but that's not a failure. Each new experience is a learning opportunity. Now you have more criteria to assess whether a living situation will work out.

Someone famous had some strong opinions regarding the drab four...

Abba,
As I come before you, I pray for your child known to you as Ms. K.

I ask that you keep her safe in her travels and trials (Job 1:10).
In Jesus's mighty name I pray,
Amen

Even you said you didn't fit in. So it should be a Win Win. Be happy you didn't sign anything.
@KiwiBird what happens to my stuff?

@TryingtoLava You got 30 days. As a back-up look for a storage lock-up until you find something.
@KiwiBird good idea!!

If it's a lot of stuff there are storage companies that will pack it up in a container and store it in their yard, then move it to any destination, when you're ready to move in. Anywhere in the USA.

You might want to consider that, because it saves moving everything twice.

Fortunately, tenants' rights are taken seriously in California. You can call the Tenants' Rights Hotline at 888-495-8020.

You can also try the Legal Aid Directory:

@LeopoldBloom She isn’t in California and hasn't signed any Tenancy agreement so legally not a Tenant.
@KiwiBird Right, I saw that she's in Oregon. However, you don't need to sign an agreement; the fact that she lived there gives her tenant's rights. Especially if she had any mail forwarded there.
@LeopoldBloom you got it in OR you dont have to sign a lease its under subsection 7

It's hard to have roommates, was never a walk in the park all throughout college.

I hope you will get a suitable place soon. Have to explore with broader methods.

@MethDozer Right, you're in Oregon now. Another state that is better for renters.
