the father is an incredible dad and gets him every single weekend btw… He works Monday-Friday, only has off on the weekends but yet still gets the baby Friday night until Sunday night. He is wonderful. She thinks he’s a piece of crap. He isn’t — most fathers wouldn’t want to get their kid every single weekend. No free time for him whatsoever.

@CharityRae No, I'm not. I came from a broken home. My mom took me to live with her when I was three. There was a horrible tug of war over me. It went on for years till I was in high school. I have to say that my dad was an absolute ass even though he pampered me and won't let my mom have me outright.

This isn't the first time she's expected you to watch him. Do food stamps get loaded at the beginning of the month? Does she get WIC money too? I know you love them both, but she is asking way too much of you. If I remember, this isn't the first time she's expected you and your Mom to watch him. Is he good with River?

@mrnature94 yes he loves River. When I stay over at her apartment, the baby wakes up and she sleeps and ignores him… until she’s ready to get up at, like 12. It’s sad and I hate thinking of him there alone with her and getting hurt… I love him so much. The reason we agree to watch him so much is because we love that boy and worry about him when he isn’t with us.

When I got married, my wife's ex-boss was Matron of Honor.
On our honeymoon, my wife told me that we have to be back a few days early.
When I asked why, she said that her ex-boss wouldn't have come to our wedding unless we babysat the ex-boss' 11 year-old son, for the last three nights of our honeymoon.
So....I got the thrill of watching a bratty 11 year-old for the last weekend of our honeymoon.
No wonder my marriage lasted only 25 years.
