Oh it can only get worse. There's simply more and more people for that to happen.

My mom used to ask people who were crowding her space,
Are you afraid to be alone or what?

I’m not afraid to tell people like that to back off my space. Some people are just rude with how they want to crowd you.

It is definitely a thing you have to ask for used to people would sit as far away as possible

It’s gotten bad over the years. I’m in airports all the time, people enter the doors then loose all ability to function around others. Groups spread out, stop in front of you, block all aisles. Etc, rude people also.

Yeah, I hate that shit. People are rude. There can be five empty urinals in a public restroom, and some dude will come up and use the one right next to me while I'm taking a piss. WTF?

Its more or less considered good manners to not crowd anyone, but in this day and age, how many people come from families that bothered to teach them that? Maybe a can of fart spray 😂 would get strangers to not sit so close? 😉

I do not think it is about invading personal space as much as it is people being oblivious to their surroundings.

I think part of it is because a lot of people are not happy with their lives. They feel the need to act out any microaggression they can get away with.
Things like invading people's space, driving noisy cars, leaving their dogs out to bark late at night, holding up the line to write a paper check.
