I can't believe people actually normalize this insanity. This student has had his education and future compromised for what is literally nothing.

He didn't bully or specifically target anyone, and he was sharing an [b]opinion[/b] in a class discussion. Moreover, he was essentially stating a truth, which is that in biology there are only two genders.

If we follow the biological approach, it teaches that gender traits are a result of biological sex (of which there's only two).
It was only when psychologists began toying with ideas around gender, that people thought differently. They are wrong to think differently, but rational people still have to tolerate it. It would be nice if they could at least accept that normal, balanced people will, quite often, believe that gender is a reflection of sex, and that there are only male and female. People who disagree with that do so because they can't see that sex and gender have been distorted, because we live in an unhinged society in the West.

There are more than two genders and that becomes readily apparent in the context of other societies that have more than two genders. Goes to show how it's a social construct, yet some people are glued to the idea that there can only be two.

They typically conflate their idea of two genders with there being two sexes, male/female.

There are more than two genders but only two sexes. It's not that difficult but unfortunately some people rather want to bully others and put them down rather than to engage with queer people and educate themselves.

@FragileHeart I'm certain there's more to this than meets the eye. I very much doubt he was suspended for respectfully disagreeing with a certain point of view in a classroom discussion. All the sources we've seen so far have come from far-right websites with a history of hate speech and fake news such as the Epoch times, and Josh Alexander himself is part of Save Canada: a far-right Christian fundamentalist organisation that among other things is anti-vax and deeply transphobic.

Liberal outlets like CNN are perpetuating the hoax that transgenders are suffering massive physical discrimination, Just as They perpetuated the hoax that police where out there just to gun down African Americans. When in fact, 75% of police shootings in the U.S. involve whites, Hispanics, Or Asians. My employer seems to have a propensity to hire a lot of transgender people, And We have never had even a mild problem at work !

He was arrested upon returning to the school after having been suspended, for trespassing.

His being suspended was bad enough to be an issue. But thats not the same reason which he was arrested for.

The student got suspended at which time the entire school should have walked out in support.

I'm decidedly in the "who cares" school of thought on that whole issue. Respect me for who I am and I'll respect you for who you are. In others words, you do you and I'll do me.

I think the real issue is people forgetting that gender in this sense is really gender identity. People can identify any way they want but I don't have to agree there is more than two genders. Gender and gender identity are not the same things even if people think they are.

There are only 2 fucking gender. It called biology. There only a man lion and a female lion just like in thousands of other species. But oh no, we ppl think we are soo fucking different bec of what psychology 🙄🙄🙄 that mindset wasn't in the 1950s to 60s or even 70s.
