There is a blind guy at my church. I didn't realize it until I felt something hitting my feet. I thought it was some kid messing around and hitting my feet with some toy. It turns out it was a blind guy with a cane. He's an old man, so I'm not sure if he was always blind or if it's because his age.
The church service are held in the Russian language. So he's mostly likely from either Russia, Ukraine, or Belarus. I'd like like to know his story but I don't want to seem like a jerk who's just talking to the old blind guy out of pity.
My grandmother went blind in her 90s, and my great grandmother on my mothers side was also blind.
