She knows I normally wear them under my clothes and When I was driving her home that night she suggested that I go ahead and take off my shirt and drive her home with just my shorts over my swimsuit. She has seen me wearing it many at times before just not out in public like I did that night.

Yes, I only wear one piece swimsuits. I do have a two piece swimsuit that I tried but I didn't find it as comfortable as one piece swimsuits.
