@Lifeismystery Yes, God should be the center of a marriage and a lot of people don’t do that. I do read the Bible, I’m just saying that I’ll most likely want someone for companionship in some point in my life.

If you believe in God you should know that God means for us to enjoy other people. Our families, our loved ones. It is not easy but you must understand that humans will undoubtably fail you at times.
You must enter into relationships with the knowledge that at some point you may feel hurt by someone you love even if it is unintentional.
Conducting all of your relationships in the proper order as Christ has instructed us will help you relying on the Holy Spirit for direction instead of being led by our desires, lusts and hope will help you further.
But hurt is inevitable even by those with the best of intentions sometimes.
Don't give up on the fullness of life.
