They had a better marketing campaign, stronger armies, and often adapted to the religious practices of the area just enough to make people feel more comfortable about converting.

I don’t know what to tell you. I’m not Christian nor a fan. I only answered the original question with an explanation for how they came to be so widespread and in power.

I do think that your hyper-focus on Christianity is a little naïve. Every organized religion has used terrorism. Even Buddhism has a dark side. @Max41

@WhateverWorks But it should not be said that forceful conversion was a better marketing campaign ,
because similar thing muslims had done as well ,
although you had given a nice answer it .

When I say better I mean more efficient not that it was good @Max41
Buddhists and Hindus are thriving in their home countries. Christianity in the USA just has a better marketing program and brainwashing methodology.
Max41 · 26-30, M
@Grateful4you There are brainwashed christians , who are ready to fight others for christianity , call others as bad , it is not christianity to quote lines of bible always , to degrade others .

A real christian should live the words , than just memorising it .

Like monks or christian saints in past who used to live the words of their prophet jesus .

However in Usa , there is hate and brainwashing going , they even talk about Christianity is in danger , and hold protests against other religions .
It is not really the christian life .
@Max41 At my age we keep it simple. My belief can be summed up in one word bud. "Gratitude" period.
Max41 · 26-30, M
@Grateful4you Having gratitude towards god is nice too , if you had made others feel gratitude towards you and god as well .
jesus was not only a physician , but first he was a preacher of leaving the corruption and violence .
His followers tried to be less corrupt as well , for which they practised non violence as well . They had gratitude for the socialism behaviour for the poorest of people .
Jesus himself lived in rags and slept on ground .
Christianity has an Ibrahimic exterior, but if you dig deep you''ll find how paganized it has become interiorly.
Max41 · 26-30, M
@SoulKey Yes by the initial followers it had been more paganised , because they had to prove that he really talked to some god , that he was really son of god , and that his death will save the world .

I don't. They were very mean and sexist. They actually forced boys into the military and taught them to steal so they basically turned them into psychopaths.

Women couldn't own more than they could carry and had no political rights. Horrible culture but it's nothing against them, it's just that they had low mortality out of incorrect belief systems.
