It wouldn't work out so well when family come over and want to play badminton, or you need to go out to the shed to get something, or your dog runs around in it. Good for areas you never walk on like if you had an acre and that back corner nobody ever visits.

Fine for those whose back gardens are so big they need motor-mowers! :)
I suppose it takes me about half an hour to trim my "lawn"- and my mower does not annoy the neighbours with a noisy petrol engine. Its fuel is tea and cakes....

I'm not sure my HOA would approve of all of those weeds. Even if flower heads pop up on some of them from time to time.
