how do you handle minor body imperfections/ disfigurements

i have got some minor body disfigurements which i've had for a long time....mainly my thumbnail on my right hand is deformed looking because i used to bite it a lot due to nerves...so it has grown back wonky and deformed looking, the nail looks...

obsess about them like for example every tiny bump on your body and magnify it so much that you think youre so grotesque that you dont care anymore lol how you look. but of course stay well groomed as much as you can muster and hygienic.
