You can't travel faster than the speed of light. Even travelling at the speed of light requires massive quantities of energy to sustain that speed. I don't think it will ever happen.

Based on what we know today, it is not possible to travel faster than the speed of light.

There are theoretical possibilities, backed by a lot of math/physics, that propose different ways to travel light years, without going faster than light, but it's all theory. Kind of like science meets fiction.

Centuries from now, we might be able to approach the speed of light, but the time dilation effect may present a psychological barrier.

Of course what we know about Physics, may be wrong, or wrong in the same sense that Lavoisier was both right and wrong and Newton was both right and wrong, if you apply the proper context.

@Northwest if the pleiadians can travel here for just 6-7 hrs with their beamships why can't we achieve it too
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@KA369963 Maybe they know a shortcut, like a wormhole or a wrinkle in time or something. That sounds more plausible to me than that they or especially we could travel at the speed of light.

You’d actually be able to travel through time according to Einstein if that happened. Unfortunately I don’t that’s ever happening 😔. Maybe in 500 million years more ( if we don’t cease to exist) .

Not as many millennia as we would need to slowly accelerate to close-to-light speed without the accelerative forces turning us into a bio-film spread across the back wall 😀

I doubt if we make it past 2023 as Biden and the liberals running the shit show will have China attacking us by then.

The speed of light actually does not exist as it is always there it is just a matter of perception.
CakeByTheOcean · 26-30, F
It might never happen. How do we solve energy problems while achieving it?
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
Unless there is a revolution in Physics, it will never happen
When we get rid of facebook university.
I am guessing two or less
