That's a beautiful story, almost like the basis for a film. You should write it as a short story. It shows a true connection is more spiritual than physical. I bet no other man has touched her soul quite like you did.

@Richard65 I really don't know anything about her life. I never asked my school friends about her later.

@justanotherone it doesn't matter what happened to her. You have these beautiful moments that you remember and that's enough. Knowing what happened to her might actually break the spell and ruin the mystery. The exchange of poems between you is wonderful on its own.

@Richard65 I agree with you. It's better if stays this way.

The notebook actually stayed at her.
I have been thinking if she ever opened and read it later again or threw it away.

@justanotherone I'm sure she did and still remembers this cute experience. BTW, if u remember her name, u could try finding her on Facebook. Several ex-classmates of mine found me there. Even if she's already a different person, I'm sure the two of you would like talking after all these years.

@TeacherInTheSun I don't feel that would be a good idea. She stays in my memory as the girl she was.

@justanotherone Maybe you're right. Some memories are better left as they are. I had a primary school crush who moved out of the city. I saw her on Facebook decades later and she's now an overweight middle aged married woman. She didn't look great, although as a kid she was super cute. I prefer to remember her as she was when she was my classmate in school.
