She is not "taking a holiday".
Even I know that, and I am not religious although from a lightly Anglican background.
She and her husband are taking a pilgrimage, a walk with a religious purpose and along an ancient pilgrims' route; and I wish her and her flock well.

@ArishMell Wait and see, but compared to other archbishops from the past she's already scoring very bad. If it were only a matter of her being female then it wouldn't evolve into the schism that there's going to happen. She can't move any more once she's fully into office. The communication with those who want to go won't happen then either. Moreover, who will stand being lectured to by someone who is doing the very same thing? Have you seen the team that she had when she was bishop of London? Somehow there wasn't any charismatic, conservative evangelical nor catholic around then either

How is
I am not an Anglican and I know a lot about her: she's been all over the news and the division her appointment is causing has been well covered.
visiting local churches, cathedrals, and holy sites along the route, and to meeting people, praying with them and hearing their stories.

@ArishMell Yes, it's a very sad thing that she doesn't know any better than to continiously talk about her experiences in nursing and how women helped her then too. Like a talk to six female bishops from Africa online will really help the Anglican Communion hold together. That's as shallow as the grave that she's digging for herself to become a shepherd for the Church that there once was. Now it's all gone. No real communication any more

As you know I have met Sarah, she is the most accessible of the four Archbishops Ive met.
She has a very difficult job to do, not helped by Misogynist Nigerian Bishops, woke Bishopesses, and Bishops who have protected paedophiles.
Let us keep Sarah in our prayers, that she will be guided by the Holy Spirit in the work she has to undertake.
Now back to my Lenten Fast, where I have given up social media.

From the description, it looks more like a "working" holiday, rather than a walking one.
