My family went to church three times a week and we attended messianic shul too.. That's where all my friends (and crushes) were.. So I didn't mind..

I began telling my parents I didn't believe in God or Jesus and I didn't want to go to church when I was about 11. They beat the crap out of me for it, which didn't turn me into a believer. They finally gave up when I was 14.
