The First Amendment only has to do do with the Federal government and organized religion. It has nothing to do with your little spiritual tantrum.

But seriously there are good reasons why your parents might want to try and guide you away from Satanic worship – because they care about you and care about your life --both temporal and eternal. They might want to do what they can to guide you toward truth, beauty and love –rather than let you slip into darkness and misery. They actually have a duty to do this – it is the most important part of what is called parenting!

My situation is very similar aside from who we believe I to have my own beliefs and also hate not just my family forcing beliefs on me, but random people who claim to be Christian but then refuse to respect others beliefs like they're asked to in their bible. They pick out specific pieces to suit their needs rather than looking at the bigger picture.
