You are so welcome

@IamHere4 - HaHa - the only way we speak is online. Maybe that's the secret to a long marriage.

Congratulations, we have something in common. My hubby and I have also been married for 48 years.
I feel like it is quite an achievement.
We joke around a lot, or we might lose our minds.
One day he asked me, "What are you going to do
while I'm gone to Longview?
I said, "I think that I will run away from home." His reply,
"I'd be willing to help you pack."
I told him that was a good one. We had a good
laugh.

48 YEARS!!!! That's AMAZING!!!!
Wow! Kudos to you both!
It must be interesting. Seeing how people you love grow and change (if at all!) over time!
And the fact that you STILL want to be together, despite all you've gone through during your life together.......You're AMAZING!!!!!!
Happy anniversary !!

Thank you - xx

Congratulations suzie. My late wife would sometimes say, when I'd done or said something objectionable: "I don't like you. I love you, but I don't like you"

48 years! Well done!
suzieb · 70-79, F
@candywhite - congrats to you too as well. You're right - it's not easy and far too many give up when things get difficult. I think these days, it's too easy to quit. I think if it had been easier in our day I probably would have quite too! Lol.
Congratulations!. Totally understand the hasn't been easy, and sometimes just hated. Not sure about everyone, but you are not the only ones ;-)
