This man said no. He claims it does not help block the virus. And that you are taking safety away from the doctors and nurses. Redfield, the head of CDC says wear a mask. It reduces your risk of getting Covid-19 by 50%.
What do you think. Should people wear masks in public for now. I say yes. Comments please. 🙂

Masks can help if they're the right type. But let's be real, there's a shortage. Masks should go to people that are high risk, the rest can be distributed.

@Zonuss I'm not saying that your family shouldn't come first if you already have them. Either way, most places wouldn't accept them. But there's no benefit in going out and buying a fuck ton, hoarding them, and putting people that are actually vulnerable at risk. Leaving those people without protection just makes it even more dangerous for families.

@SW-User There aren't any to buy. 🤭

@Zonuss wonder why

Wearing a mask in public won’t matter unless it’s an N95 with a perfect seal. There’s still debate as to whether the virus is airborne or droplet. Things that people can control are washing your hands, not touching your face, and staying home unless absolutely necessary or you’re essential personnel.

@BalmyNites I’m a danger to society? Cool. I work in healthcare and I’ve spent the past few weeks caring for patients who are positive for COVID. You don’t know the struggles we’ve gone through to get proper PPE in our hospital. Meanwhile idiots like you are skipping around outside flashing your masks and gloves just because you can. Why? How hard is it for people to understand that you need to limit all unnecessary exposure? I disagree, it’s people like you who will both directly and indirectly cause more deaths. And if you’re committed to standing by your statements, fine, whatever. I’m not going to change your mind. But I absolutely refuse to have you talk down to me. I’m putting my life on the line to treat and care for my patients.

@DivinityinMotion I actually have no regard for your statement, as you are rude & judgemental towards those you don’t know/know nothing about. For your information, I have been ill with respiratory/chest infection, pneumonia & a cracked rib for the past 3 months. Not that this is any of your business & you have no right to know, however I am simply highlighting your idiotic judgemental attitude. You’re a nurse? IF that is true (which I doubt), I’m just thankful I will never have to be tended to by the likes of you. No further comment is required, nor will it be responded to - as I don’t converse with 💩💩

@BalmyNites I never said I was a nurse. And you’ve made plenty of assumptions about me from the start. So honestly, no need to feign the moral high ground, especially when you were the one to start with the coy insults. I don’t need your validation and I certainly don’t care about your personal ailments. I said what I said.

I will be wearing them for a while because I just had surgery on my mouth.
I say it wouldn't hurt. However I haven't seen the street for 3 and a half weeks so I haven't had to wear one yet.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Same, I’ve had a viral chest infection & pneumonia 😷
@BalmyNites 🤗 stay safe. Muscular dystrophy in my case. Hopefully this all passes soon.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether Stay safe, my dear friend 🤗

I have been wearing one, yes. My parents bought a bunch of N95 masks after the horrible wildfires we had here that caused us to have to evacuate our home. The air quality was so bad it was compared to smoking several cigarettes at once. Ever since then we've had some available, so the last time I went out I wore one.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User Good.
TexChik · F
Unless it’s a N95 or better , it’s a waste of time
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@TexChik I think masks should be worn..
TexChik · F
@Zonuss unless they are N95 or better , the virus will fly right on through ! Fact ! Now if you have it , then wearing one helps people around you ... but level 1or 2 masks to prevent getting it? Nope
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@TexChik That's if you come in direct contact with the virus. Even then it would probably be a mild case. 🙂
It reduces the risk of spreading it from the mask wearer to other people.
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
Have not been in public since 3/19/2020
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@GJOFJ3 Interesting.

@Newfound It's Sub Zero from Mortal Kombat. 🐍. 🤭
Nope - not needed... I just keep my distance - avoid people that are coughing...

Obviously the priority is to make sure every f*cking Dr and Nurse has a really good mask. During these crises they die in large numbers - and it's not like it takes 10 minutes to make good Drs or Nurses. Masks - why not, does it help much (maybe somewhat it's not proven either way).
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User Perhaps they are trying to kill us all. 😐
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@BalmyNites Thank you Balmy. 🙂✨

@Zonuss YW hun 🤗

Fuck no, I am not an idiot. If I had the corona I wouldn't be fucking going out. And guess what< I am not hoarding toilet paper or cleaning supplies either.

The only thing we should be hoarding now is gas, it's so bloody cheep. Why? Cause we can't fucking go anywhere?
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User Yes. Stock up on gas and canned goods. 🙂
SW-User
@Zonuss Just wash your hands and drink whiskey. Alone, and no making out.
Chevy454 · 46-50, M
Hell no!!!! Not wearing gloves at gas station, etc.
