The $2400 helps but between the cut in unemployment and the tips which is his paycheck essentially that stimulus money is pity money. My reimbursement early on my 2020 tax returns. Big deal.

Different system in UK. Either your company is asking government to pay 80% of your salary (furloughed) or if self employed you'll get 80% of your average earnings over last 3 years in lump sum in June equivalent to 3 months income. Up to limits of £2,500 a month.

I do not qualify as I'm retired and my wife works in a school therefore is still working some time looking after key worker children. She's getting full wage for part time
