@JessicaVl this is exactly 40 miles from the coast and some 80 miles south of LA! 🤷‍♂️

Another 80 miles south and you be at the U.S. Mexico border.

@JessicaVl some. This last rain was warm so it probably melted it. 😔

@DeWayfarer Right, it is not high enough. Probably Idlewild got a lot snow( scary road though)

@JessicaVl would have to walk a bit to see how Idlewild is. Yet there was fire there last week. So there could be some flooding anyway. Hiway 74 was closed because of the fire even then.

@DeWayfarer That highway that goes to Palm Desert, I am always scared to go to Palm Desert through 74. I do my all around going through 79 to Beaumont.

While I lived in Anza I worked in Anza, Idlewild and Pinion pines for over 12 years. Now I am a bit North in Hemet.

@DeWayfarer At this time of the year ( without pandemic) was the best time to go to Palm Desert, the flea market near the College, the art street market in La Quinta, go for lunch in some resort, watch movies or theater. I'm missing that stuff.

@JessicaVl wasn't very big on going into the desert. Too much like where I was born and I hated it there on the other side of big bear.

If I ever went to a flee market I would go into Beaumont or Riverside.
