Yes. I have what I call a lifelong crush on someone. It is like our lives are meant to touch every few years but stay separate.. like two parallel lines //. It is difficult - having to let him "go" multiple times requires extra strength.
Even so, it is also the deepest and most enriching crush - I grew a lot from it :)
