She walked into a monthly pub meet-up with my best female friend, who'd met her online and persuaded her to come along to meet some new people.

I instantly saw her waist-length red hair and thought "Wow, who's THAT?!". After a few minutes I wandered over to say Hi to my friend and introduce myself to the new lady, but the latter was so shy that she just buried her face in her phone and wouldn't/couldn't speak to me.
