Different stages of childhood it was different stuff.
When I first learned to read I loved the Dr. Seuss books. Green eggs and ham; Are you my mother ? Etc.
A little older and I read Enid Blyton's Secret Seven stories.
After that I discovered books based on a tv series called The Tomorrow people by Roger Price. Loved them !
