As long as you treat me how you would want yourself treated, you can count on me treating you with the utmost decency and respect!
However, the world is a cruel place and people have stepped on me quite a few times. And I'm tired of getting stepped on. No, that doesn't mean I'm wounded or broken, but simply that if you do something to hurt my feelings, I'm going to have to let you know somehow.
At the same time, I try my best to be a gentlemen, which usually entails making everyone that takes the time out to talk to me feel showered with kindness, sympathy, empathy and complements. Why? Because I have definitely received the opposite and it is NOT good!
