@dunpender In practice, yes, of course.
But even in theory, Communism is flawed, is what I'm saying. The very concept is revolting.
According to Marx, the two premises are:
1. From each according to capacity. To each according to need.
Now this reeks of immorality to me. It is willfully depriving people with capability and people who work hard, of the fruits of their talent and labor so that people who do not have these qualities can benefit. This is theft, which my moral structure does not condone.
2. Workers of the world unite.
This second premise pre-supposes that the inventor, the writer, the philosopher, the entrepreneur, the investor - all and more such categories - are not workers. It at once relegates any higher human function to 'not work'. It is not asking for a workers' collective. Instead it only asks those who cannot to collectivize, rather than those who can. It stifles humanity.

Yet, do you confuse socialism with communism? Most people see them as the same

@Dobsdobs Upon democracy and choices, I'm very fine with my choice of the NDP. I'm philosophically socialist, and it's rare for me to see they may get the vote. When they don't, I don't get upset, I understand my role in society, express what I want, if I don't get what I want, then I at least have someone as an advocate. I'm usually happy if a Liberal (centrist) party gets in because somewhere I recognize that centrism recognizes a balance.

@SW-User I'm with you there. I believe a centrist political stance is the best as its the most balanced.
