Short term consequence is dire, there is no bloody exit plan because Cameron believed the vote would go the other way. In the long run however, it is likely to be the wiser decision.

Lets face it, Cameron needs to go. He was useless anyway. Just like most politicians.
No forward thinking on brexit and they are meant to be running the country.
The near future looks a bit rocky, but after a year or two, once we exit the EU, we will be back stronger than ever.
They tried to say we are stronger together, they are right. WE as a nation are stronger sticking together.

Fuck. Knows. Literally nobody knows. People are guessing another recession is likely, and the pound has already dropped to its value in 31 years, so the consequences aren't gonna be great really.
I think the part immigration plays in this gets way overblown. Yes, it's a big issue for the racist brexit supporters. But not the vast majority, who seem to just be getting pigeon holed in with them because Nigel farage claims to be the face of brexit.
A lot of the older voters (particularly working class ones) might remember a time the uk was a big player in the industrial world (coal, steel, fishing, ship building, cars..the list goes on) but once we joined the EU all those things were sacrificed for big business as it became cheaper to import those things from the eu countries. A lot of jobs were lost. So I think the hope of those voters is this will force the uk into being more industrialised and self sufficient..

I voted to stay btw lol I can just see people's side of the story. And like it or not it's happening so might as well look for the positives.

But the uncertainty was caused by Brexit. All in all, it's been a real shit show. Constant lies, Farage making a mockery of us in the European Parliament, David Cameron running away from this thing which is HIS fault. Oh, and buggar alls gonna change like they promised. Remember how everyone hates immigrants? Well Sweden and Norway aren't part of the EU, but to get the trade deals, guess what? They have to take immigrants like everyone else! So guess what we'll have to do? Take the same amount of immigrants. Gah! Fuck the Brexit campaign. Filled with lies and ignorance.
Depends on alot of things. The big one being what the British people will let the elites in London and Brussels get away with. If history repeats itself Brussels along with their cronies in London will simply decide voting does not count in the EU and they will either ignore it or they will have a new vote until the people vote the way they want. If the British people show some spine and force the issue things will get interesting. It might just speed up the inevitable demise of the EU.

Many people will make millions of pounds in profit, due to the fear of the unknown
U.K. Will probably break up. Scotland and possibly Northern Ireland might stay in the Euro. England and Wales will go it alone. Financially Scotland and Ireland would stay pretty much the same but England and Wales would have a few dodgy years then come back even stronger.
This is just one of my many predictions. Truth is, who the fuck knows what will happen. lol

I believe it will be great for Britain. They will be able to manage themselves and keep their money to better the health service rather than give it to those "politicians" they did not elect in the first place and they will have better control over immigration.
berangere · 80-89, F
I think Britain leaving the union is a great thing,Britain will be better off because of it,they will have more control over many things including immigration.
The pound dropped because people panic and withdraw money and make decisions just to be safe. It wasn't brexit that caused that, it was uncertainty.
