2) Of course they aren't. But they most definitely are bigots and hypocrites. And the ones who claim to be religious are by far the worst. How can someone who claims to be guided by a religious morality support a man who is a patholigical liar , a bully and a cheat , and somebody who boasts about sexually abusing women ? To disregard all that while claiming to be morally superior really does take a special kind of speciousness.

Nationalism and Democratic are VERY different things.
Nationalism: a feeling that people have of being loyal to and proud of their country often with the belief that it is better and more important than other countries
Democratic: relating to, appealing to, or available to the broad masses of the people
The modern-day Republican Party has more in common with nationalism than any Social Democrat. Glorifies the police state, its ban of certain religions, its outward hate towards minorities... yeah, we all hear the dog whistles now.
Bullshit is bullshit regardless where it falls on the political spectrum. So excuse me while I had to call out your interpretation of the Nazi Party as such.

As a Muslim, I think the media is just playing nuts with our minds. I did not hear the rest of the Muslim countries being banned from traveling to USA, only the countries that remind me of the people who enjoyed hurting my feelings and talking shit behind my back. I got surprised and creeped out from Donald Trump, because now I admit, my prayers in the past from my emotional pain, scares me now.
