@LeopoldBloom You are partly right. What you mean to say is that Trump is copying China's economic model which in turn was copied from Singapore. This small island state ran by Lee Kuan Yew was one of the four Asian Tigers with booming economies. Back in 1978, Deng Xiaoping visited Singapore, met with Lee and wanted to know how the latter transformed a shitty little place filled with Chinese into a country with no debt and a per capita income which today is higher than the USA's. Trump is now trying to copy China's state-managed capitalist economic model to attempt powering the US economy ahead before we lose out to the Chinese. Xi Jinping was mentored by Deng who told him what Lee Kuan Yew said: "Corruption in government is the poison that destroys nation building." There are no oligarchs in China after Jack Ma was clipped by Xi. No rich people now dares kick the poor around in China. This is the secret that Karl Marx did not know. You can make your money but don't you dare kick the poor around. The "Uncle Sam" of China looks after them. And that, my friend, is communism with Chinese characteristics.
