He did come across to me as a wild card; and in voting for him, I took the risk wading into the muck of US politics that I had given up on. Why did I even do it: attempting to shock a rotting heart (i.e. government) back to life? Chalk it up as the love of country.

Trump is out of his depth. Deep State USA is the gigantic starship USS Enterprise. Trump is a yokel on the bridge. He is given control of something he cannot fly. No President can fly this complex thing which has a mind of its own. In contrast, Deep State China actually works.
