South Korea could have known they weren't being protected. The US population knows that the US military cannot protect it but is designed to crush it. Europe understands you occupy it to destroy society, not to protect Europe. Taiwan understands that. They already knew in all those places before Hegseth said we defend nobody, we maximize lethality, before US took the defending missiles away and put them in Israel.

old information that's no longer true or outright lies.

This is a discussion forum, not a shouting match.
@sree251 those chips will no longer be exported to the US. The USA obviously occupies Europe, the baton was passed at Berlin. North Korea does not seek to destroy the South. Obviously nobody thinks the sudden removal of US missiles and radar will make China attack Taiwan or Korea or Japan.

those chips will no longer be exported to the US.

Why is that? TSMC is investing over $65 billion to build three advanced chip fabrication plants ("fabs") in Phoenix, Arizona. The first, Fab 21, began producing 4nm chips in early 2025, with future sites scheduled for 3nm and 2nm production by 2030.

The USA obviously occupies Europe, the baton was passed at Berlin.

The occupation is costing US taxpayers a lot of money. What is the payback?

North Korea does not seek to destroy the South. Obviously nobody thinks the sudden removal of US missiles and radar will make China attack Taiwan or Korea or Japan.

Then, why is China viewed as a threat?

Historically the bases have served multiple countries well. Now there is a man in charge who is only interested how he can use America for his own profit. No doubt lot of this oil revenue and other spoils will find it's way to his family's pockets.
