The left will win only though lies. Theyve do e good job in the past

@Patriot96 We agree. An 'Honest Politician" is an oxymoron in America. It just took a Trump to make it so bloody obvious..😷
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
I agree with your point. Market power is the way to go. As demonstrated. Sadly that doesnt address the T Rex in the room of the $37 Trillion overseas debt. thats one the rest of the world is going to use against an America powerless to stop it..😷

@MoveAlong Exactly. Taking a look at trump and the very real damage he has done to America nationally and internationally, then realising he is not even Americas biggest problem is REALLY depressing..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Like all third world countries (we just happen to have a large military, for now), if we get too desperate, we can and probably would nationalize and cancel it. There would be economic turmoil for 10-30 years, but the country would remain. It is tme country version of bankruptcy.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Neoerectus That could work. With the following "IFS" If America went back to producing everything is consumed. If Americans accepted a huge drop in their standard of living. And if the rich accepted the nationalisation of large portions of their property and wealth.
Without all three (and we know that isnt going to happen) America will have to find a way to generate value to purchase required imports to make anything, either for consumption or export. And the cost to the US consumer and to industry and agriculture to work without subsidies would still equal a massive drop in living standard. A lot of military hardware and property would need to be sold at fire sale prices..😷

Just a couple facts but congrats to Jimmy. The stock declined less than 2% and this is from such a well run company whose stock basically declines every day and if you want to use the word plummet, in the last 4 years its value has declined close to 40% at the same time that the DOW rose by 40%.
FYI, the article you highlight states .67% which equals .0067 while 7% is .07,need to move your decimals.

I hope your right!

Well, maybe, but farmers still adore him despite losing markets.
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@Bumbles They are not the ones that will make a difference. It's corporate America and their shareholders that will fold just like Disney did today. Remember most of corporate America aren't the well known ones like Musk, Zuker, and Bezos. There are millions of corporate bigwigs who stand to lose more than they are willing if the economy crashes.

@SumKindaMunster Oh it goes much deeper than that.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@MoveAlong Is that right? You got a secret shrine to Trump in your garage?
jackjjackson · M
Smart people dumped their Disney stock a long long time ago and didn’t experience the losses and instead invested the proceeds in for example NVIDIA.
