@JSul3 It is outdated. The immigration crisis is worse today. It’s not about how many are crossing at one time It’s what they are bringing
President Trump is right when he says these countries aren’t sending their best people. We get the criminals
No one should EVER be allowed enter without a criminal background check

"The U.S. didn't have enough asylum officers to do credible fear interviews for every person crossing the border, given the huge influx of border-crossers starting with the COVID-19 pandemic, at the end of the first Trump administration and during the Biden administration, experts told NPR."

Attributing the "huge influx" to anything other than a deliberate policy by the Biden administration is absurd, as is the pretense that anything remotely similar occurred during Trump's first term. The brief peak under Trump occurred in mid-2019, about 6 months before Covid-19 first appeared in China, and nearly a year before it had spread to the Americas.

@Thinkerbell The influx of immigrants from South American countries has always been large.
Honduras.... Nicaragua....Guatemala.
All prime examples of a few extremely wealthy, while the masses live in poverty.
As the climate gets worse....think lack of water....the masses will move north. Nothing will stop it.

"The number of migrants caught crossing the southern border illegally set a new historic monthly low in June, continuing an extraordinary lull in illegal immigration the Trump administration has attributed to its aggressive deportation efforts, preliminary government data obtained by CBS News shows.
Last month, Border Patrol agents along the U.S.-Mexico border recorded just over 6,000 apprehensions of migrants who entered the country without authorization, the lowest monthly tally ever reported by the agency, according to the preliminary Customs and Border Protection data. The previous monthly low reported by Border Patrol was in March, when the agency recorded around 7,200 migrant apprehensions."
