Lack of funding certainly puts the brakes on repeatability. Which prohibits peer review and evidence collection.

@Carla trump / Republicans are determined to limit intelligence and knowledge amongst US voters.

@22Michelle an uneducated citizenry is malleable.

@22Michelle Trump voters are the most intelligent Americans today. And it's a reason to be optimistic, because we make up most of the country. The public schools apparently aren't doing as badly as some people think.

If we are talking about cuts to funding science it can absolutely make doing those very things near impossible within a capitalist system.
If we are talking about the climate change conspiracy theory nuts claiming scientists are making millions to fake science.....I can say none of those people know anything about scientific and academic grants. That is not a thing. Nobody is buying a Bentley with their grant money regardless of the results of the research.

It may make the science harder, but it doesn't invalidate it.

@iamthe99 True. The MAGA crowd do seem to have the toddler logic of "if we make it go away we can say it is not real."

Withdrawal of funding will prove very beneficial for science in america's former allies 😀👍
Lack of funding incapacitates, though.
