I have to disagree! My money is doing fine!
@BrandNewMan I'm stating FACTS not fears.

@ElwoodBlues This is some bad stuff. I don't get how people can be in denial....
fun4us2b · M
@BrandNewMan Chicken little accurately states that unless there's a rapid change, we will see structural unemployment and currency devaluation that will take years to reverse.

One thing you’re going to see a lot of is Trump making the US worse, but the cover story will always be fingers pointed at something else. Anything else really.

Think of it like this, a child bullies other kids because their parents abused them. That child can then blame their parents and that totally works, up until the child is grown up and the world expects them to take responsibility.

So it’s somewhat remarkable to see how a grown man like Trump goes around blaming everything else he can for his bullying, and stranger still is all the people who are very much on his side in playing the blame game. I guess it makes sense to say that adults for the most part… are just grown children.

The US has been getting royally screwed by tariffs from other countries since forever, biden did nothing! thank gawd Trump is doing something about it

@fun4us2b Clearly, you do not pay attention to anything but CNN. If you listen only to propaganda, why bother coming here to complain?
Trump and Musk both said there would be some mistakes made and some hire backs as they sorted through the massive mess of our government.

fun4us2b · M
@TexChik Clinton balanced the budget and virtually eliminated the deficit (I did not vote for him) but Clinton also did not alienate all of our allies and unleash massive wealth destruction against our own country.

@fun4us2b

Exactly, and once again, we have evidence that they are clueless as to what they are doing in the White House.

The Reciprocal Trade Agreements Act of 1934, signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, granted the President authority to negotiate trade agreements with other countries, allowing for tariff reductions in exchange for reciprocal concessions, without requiring congressional approval.

@wildbill83 Thank you for that info 👍

But Congress DOES have a vote. Here's how Speaker Johnson made sure there wouldn't be one in the House.

In office 90 days and totally wrecked the stock market and who knows what else?
If people didn't want the stock market to get wrecked then they wouldn't have voted for the orange traitor. So, why are they whining?
fun4us2b · M
@Diotrephes Mainly because they thought there would be deregulation and tax cuts which would create a business friendly environment. Instead they got a bunch of uncertainty....and frankly weirdness with the whole Elon thing....If anything Congress and Senate getting paid and WTF are they doing? Seems like nothing!
