This is one I will shed zero tears for. VOIA and Radio Free Europe were created as and exist solely as American propaganda operations.
In fact it is kind of surprising Americans never seemed to be bothered by the fact that VOA was created to conduct propaganda operations on their own citizens.

@Corporalcolleague VOA was for American audiences. Radio Free Europe and it's various offshoots were for other countries. That is what made it different.
And exactly zero percent of that media even attempts to show an honest portrayal of Russia or China.
They all operate from the same narrative. The only thing that changes is the excuses justifying American foreign policy.
Take Afghanistan.
Conservatives were told it was because Americans are the world police and for revenge for 9/11.
Liberal media told their audience the war was so girls in Afghanistan could go to school. Ignoring the fact the US is why girls can't go to school in Afghanistan since the late 70s.

another sign of an authoritarian regime...despise and demean the media that reports anything contrary to what you want them to report. If Trump and his minions had their way we would have "State Sponsored Media" and the administration would control all programming. Sound familiar?
