If true, the only thing wrong is that Walz isn't proud of doing it. The Iraq War was an abomination and nobody could without disgrace be associated with it.

@Dignaga Pretty sure as a solider part of your duty is to disobey unlawful orders.
And we already established you don't know much of anything about history.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow No, you established you didn't know much when you couldn't name the year Canada gained independence (1982) or when the British Empire ended (1997), or that Hong Kong was actually a real part of the British Empire with a bunch of british military and police stationed there. I established that I knew it. You just failed.
And I had no unlawful orders to disobey. Again, you are changing the topic to something off topic and imaginary. You do this everytime it gets uncomfortable for you.
Why do you hate your own people? Your French ancestors? Why do you support the empire of your oppressors? You came out so strong and proud of the british colonial past and their policies. Why? What they did was terrible.

If you read this.........Walz broke absolutely no laws. He retired and took a reduction in rank for his retirement entirely in COMPLETE accordance with the rules and stipulations of the outfit he was in. No where in this whatever it is.....................it sounds like a jealousy letter..........does it say Walz acted in any way that was outside of the law or the stipulations of the agreement he signed. At ANY time a person is entitled to step back from this "program" and accept the consequences of being retired at a lower pay grade. He followed THEIR rules to a 'T'. He was elected...........so he did retire to run for Congress. He then did re-enlist to continue to serve his country. What exactly is the "crime" here????
If you re-read this 3 dozen times nothing said here says ANYTHING Walz did resulted in civil or military discipline.....or any charges from anyone whatsoever. All this is, is a letter showing one person's jealousy that another person in his outfit LEGALLY and contractually retired to a lesser paying retirement pay scale........and then made good for himself by being elected to Congress.
Somehow this person thinks Walz is bad for following the rules THEY laid out and he signed........ and I guess he is made because he is taking less in retirement........ then re-enlisted........and bettering himself along the way??????
I know Republicans are the kings of Nothing Burgers.................but this takes the cake.
Walz served his country for TWENTY YEARS and according to this hit piece he "conveniently" retired a YEAR BEFORE his outfit even knew they were going to Iraq. Because he retired one full year before his outfit even knew they were going to be deployed....AFTER serving his full obligation of 20 years of military service............somehow.........."he let his outfit down" and is a traitor".
Bullshit.

@Dignaga Unfortunately when people like myself present you with facts, you ignore them and keep on lying. But that’s your character, or lack thereof.

He didn’t flee. He went from representing America as a soldier to representing America as a politician.
