@SW-User No. Sadly. You’re just being selective in your reasoning.

You could make the same kind of argument about being "pro life" and backing every war out there.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Indeed.

Nope. Capital punishment is a penalty for wrongdoing. Abortion is a personal health and life choice.
Maybe someone should track people born because their mothers are denied their intrinsic rights. I wonder how many of them, through adverse consequences caused by poverty, family dysfunction and more, would end up in the criminal justice system.
Capital punishment is a problem because, no matter the crime, we don't have to carry it out. Abortion is a personal choice made to prevent suffering and unwanted children. One seeks to end life, one seeks to improve life.
(Let's not forget, either, that you're comparing a living grown human with a cluster of non-viable cells.)

Nah, these things have little to do with each other. One is an argument about the nature of personhood, the other - the nature of justice.

Maybe we should call capital punishment late-term abortion--- then both sides could come together.
WSEIII · 51-55, M
In the case of abortion were dealing with a innocent person. In the case of executions were dealing with an older person who, so long as they're guilty, chose to commit the crime. So no and capital punishment is in the bible in the form of stoning, beheading and crucifixion.

This is the issue in my opinion. There have been people sentenced to death and subsequently found to be innocent: https://healthresearchfunding.org/31-innocent-people-killed-death-penalty-statistics/

The only person involved is the one who decided not to carry a pregnancy to term.

Death sentences for kidnapping and murder at least a revenge motive for the relatives makes sense.
At least the one sentenced to death gets a trial if they earned their death sentence.
Simple. Put on a rubber or don't cum in the box. What a baby ever do to you?

@SteelHands lol so funny. The only shame is the shame that you weren’t aborted as prevention was too late
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@SueisrightFirst of all when I was born there weren't people killing babys in the womb.
Second. My father and mother were married and wouldn't have done anything like that at within 4 years of their marriage.
Third. I have brothers and sisters as well. I suppose if you and they hold differing opinions then you also feel that they aren't worthy to be on this planet, either.
Fourth. The things I stated above were simple reminders that there are people on this planet that don't think that indiscriminate out of wedlock sex resulting in pregnancy is okay because you can always just murder the baby in the womb.
I suppose you truly are as vile as you reveal yourself to be. Even so, I don't think that I would say I felt regret that someone didn't murder you when your mother carried you.
Read my words well and understand that I know, you hate yourself. You don't. Because you need someone else to blame for your unhappiness that stems from you wishing other people dead.
Can't say I blame you for hating yourself. If I thought the vile things you have in your head I would probably hate myself too.
Think about it. You are the only one who really wishes anyone dead. Not me. I mean nothing to you nor you to me. Yet...

Fact is when you were born many were whizzed off at birth and the mothers were told that the baby had died when it came out with some kind of issue that was obvious. Unfortunately your issue was missed at the time.
The fact is I don’t live by any fictional religious ways I live in the real world where for many reasons abortion is needed whether because of rape or because the child may be medically wrong like yourself
I believe everyone has the choice themselves and not the state or government or any one else the choice must be individual as there are many reasons that make sense not to bring a child into the world and you are a prime example that some should just not breed.
I am very happy myself as I live a life not telling others how to live theirs something sadly that you think you have the right to interfere in others lives.
As to the death penalty well there are some crimes that fully deserve it and whether it’s revenge or prevention of reoffending it dosent really matter.
For I stance I believe the guy that ran over a friend and killed her should have been hung simply as he was drunk driving yet sadly the court thought a 2 years prison Sentence and a 3 years driving ban was enough,a sentence of which he served 13 months and is now behind the wheel ready to kill again.
