For, what, the 7 millionth time? Defunding police [i][b]does not equal[/b][/i] doing away with the police. And no one is saying close jails, either. Close the jails [i]does not equal[/i] decriminalize and ease overpopulation and empty state retribution.

There's no such thing as "the same people," either, because that would be a blanket generalization assuming another blanket generalization of "those people."

And I'd say anyone who respects human life, law and order and real justice support the Chauvin verdict. Anyone - anyone - aligning their ideals down political lines need not even be considered in the conversation.

Where does it say that anywhere? You're ridiculous...that's the same mentality that hears gun control as taking everyone's gun away.
