@SW-User AND ALL THE PROBLEMS THAT COME WITH ALLOWING THAT CHILD TO BE BORN that they never want to contemplate !
A woman who doesn't want to be a Mother probably having to go through the extra heartbreak of not only giving birth to that child, but who then has to go through the added traumas associated with giving up that child immediately to the authorities for adoption.
A child that had no choice but to go through the process of probably having several different carers before being considered for adoption.
Potential Foster placement breakdowns.
Time spent in a childrens home and all the added stress and aggravation living your young, needy life with other kids who may well have problems that infringe on your rights of being able to live a life free from violence, potential assault (of every variety !) etc.
Creation of all manner of psychological or physical problems due to trying to survive in that environment.
Emotional problems due to difficulty in making and maintaining relationships.
Potential difficulty in the education system. If you find it hard living with ten other kids being in a classroom with thirty can and often is difficult.
That in turn can lead to Statementing (or whatever the process is called in your country) where the child is supposedly assessed as to their 'educational need'. Which, even if they get right, means a Social Worker is having to seek out alternative educational places and even if they find the right one, it'll all come down to whether the Social work team and the education budget can afford to place that child there.
And every day resentment builds in that child.
Many are seriously depressed.
Many are on medication for same.
Many go through several living environments before they 'settle'.
Many go on to the justice system.
Many go through EXACTLY the same lives their Mothers went through and the whole process starts again !
All because of stupid (predominantly) white men keep this stupid idea going !!!
