If you really look into it these rallies have been going on all the time but the media picks what they want to show and spins it. Really this was just two hateful groups that were going to clash and fight. He didn't condemn white supremacists the same way Obama didn't condemn black lives matter.
Trump and Bannon don't want to antagonise the militant wing of their base.
For every KKK thug, there are a hundred alt right internet geeks whose racial politics lean in the same direction. Some of them are on SW.
Then there are the apologists. Some are ofuscating and ignoring the numerous statements by NAZIS praising Trump's reaction. Some are attempting to defend Trump's inane false equivilance between Nazis and anti Nazis. No, BLM is not the KKK and even if they were comparable (which they are not) it still doesn't excuse Trump's actions. No there is not evidence to say George Soros is responsible for a girl getting run over by a car.
The alt right are all aware on some level that they have Nazi apologists in their midst. I asked one person three times to denounce white supremacists as a simple yes or no question and he refused each time to answer.
Posting 'edgy' memes to 'trigger' people is not funny anymore when real NAZIS are committing real violence IRL.
Not all Trump supporters are like this and those that are not should disassociate themselves from this BS. That would show more honour, class and humility the sitting President of America.

@SW-User yes, but they edit it out on CNN & NBC....they only feed them what they want to see. We know Trump has condemned them... it's a shame these people don't get how they are played by their own party.

@MsMontgomery It's true, and google search algorithms have been openly tampered with to push their propaganda, youtube videos pointing out such quotes demonetized, shadowbanned etc

Maybe he should have condemned the black lives matter group that caused the trouble in the first place ?
You liberal democrats are still mad because he won and you can't give him credit for anything !
GET OVER IT AND LET HIM RUN THE COUNTRY. He is doing a great job.

I usually avoid these arguments, they're just a clusterfuck.
SatyrService · M
because he IS one.. and wants to support them

There is nothing wrong. There is violence in both sides. Alt-left side apart from violent is hypocritical, trying to appear as 'anti-fascist' when their intolerant attitude is totally fascist
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo I'm more Jacobin or Novara media lol. The Guardian is liberal and an enemy of Corbyn.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123 Understand. Do not know that media, will check them
Edit: took a look at Jacobin. Looks like the leftist counterpart to the main alt-right site 😄

@Burnley123 In case you want to try, one of the alt-right writers I respect (nothing to do with baffoonish idiot Richard Spencer) gives his point of view about Charlottesville

Cause he's ok with White Nationalism and owes the racists his presidency.
FearfulHarmony49 · 22-25, T
UGH… I'd bother but… seems like everyone else already has it covered.
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
He's not a coward or a buffoon. He's a bigot. Compare his flat and unemotional remarks Sunday when he said racism was evil with his animated and emotional news conference Tuesday when he defended the white supremacists. It's what he truly believes. People underestimate the evil when they treat him as a clown or a moron.
