I Like to Write Poems

Yesterday

Yesterday I felt quite strange.
Emotions swerving thru their range.
Long times spent in a deep low.
Head a playing merry go.
Scene was changing really fast.
Only to repeat the last.
Scene now changing not so fast.
Head a playing have go.
Long times climbing from below.
Emotions stable thru their range.
Yesterday I felt quite strange.

Thanks for being there for me.
You really made a difference see.
Someone kind and good in heart.
Is all that took me to the start.
Good advice you did lend.
To change the scene and give an end.
Your wisdom wisely you did lend.
Is all that took a make new start.
From your kind and gracious heart.
The difference you made no one see.
Thanks for being there for me.

Sorry if I burden you.
It felt so great to be so true.
Story hard to be told.
Never felt quite so bold.
Freedom came from my hush.
Forty years went by a rush.
Freedoms great from that hush.
Head high now always bold.
Relieved the story has been told.
A lie no more my life is true.
Sorry if I burden you.

I like completeness.... I like starting where I finished.... means I can't keep going on... not sure people who know me would call be weird .... although people who know me don't know I write... maybe you are right....I'm weird

@Disguised I like to finish where i start. Funny thing is at first, i didn't know i was doing it. Once i saw oi was. I have since. I think for me is because mine come out so fast. I spend some times as little as 15 minutes on some and no more than an hour on my lengthier ones. I sense your about the same. I'm not sure sometimes what i am even writing about. Then i read it. But for some reason make some sense. I write from a mental ill and insane perspective. To dark and angry for most. But they are just words. also i chose paragraph format. Kinda give a story like feel.

@badgay I write quick. Hardly ever edit. I like a raw in the moment feel.. even if it doesn't quite work... it captures how I was and felt at that moment in time...not half hour later.i write mainly when I'm in a dark place.

@Disguised Only editing i usually do is punctuation. A thing I'm not so great at yet since i switched format. As writer we should a be unique. I started writing about six month ago. never knew that i liked to, plus i am terrible typing. I don't misspell much with a free flowing pen. So i lose much concentration because of my poor skills.

I only write electronically usually my tablet. I find when writing with a pen I can't write quick enough and tend to cross out more. I am dyxlic by the way I don't worry to much about that side of things. Nothing poor about using a skill you have. The world would be poorer without your skills.

@Disguised Skills only improve and so does creativity. A great mind never runs out of thought. i agree a tablet would would be easy than a laptop And cells are to small. Thumb cramps
