@Poppies it was so heartbreaking seeing him upset so much that he didn't want to go.

Im glad Sissy wanted to go. Joel said she stayed close to him the whole time.

She still isn't really warming up to Joel's ex wife but it will take time

That’s so heartbreaking. Adults really don’t realize how deeply their words and actions can stick with a child. I’m glad he had a safe, comforting day at home with people who listened to him and cared about how he felt.
